Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born November 18 the 18th of November, 1985, located in Los Angeles. She has a father named Paul Felix. Paul Felix is an ordained minister in the Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. and her mother Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix showed an early aptitude in sports as she was taking classes at Los Angeles Baptist High School. She discovered her sprinting ability at the moment. Within a short time after her first race, Felix finished second in the 200 meter sprint at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix was signed to an official career at Adidas in 2003, and then enrolled at University of Southern California to learn about elementary education. Felix's first Olympic medal came at the 2004 Summer Olympics at Athens Greece. Felix set an international junior record sprinting 200 meters in 22.18 secs. She was the youngest ever world champion in the 200 meters at the 2005 Helsinki World Championships and defended her title in 2007 beating long-time Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix was a frequent competitor in London, Beijing Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo. She consistently placed at the top of the podium in every event.
